AN HONEST DEAL

COMPLIMENT TO "A.F.F. CO" Addressing members at the annual meeting of the Primary Producers' Co-operative Society the Chairman Mr R. R. said: "In thanking the Auckland Farmers' Freezing Company for the manner in which they have assisted us in giving us an honest deal with all the stock they have slaughtered on our behalf I do want to say this: They arc a farmers' concern carrying on a fight for the producers which they have done lone-handed for some years past, but now it must be realised that to complete the service the processing side as well as the marketing must enter the co-operative field. Therefore we would ask the •J shareholders of that company to seriously consider this possibility. While recommending this procedure we consider it extremely wise for processing and marketing to remain separate entities."
