LAST WEEK'S COMPETITION
Well, there's certainly nothing wrong with your knowledge of geography. I was literally swamped with letters and entries for the Capes competition and I had a terrifically hard job sorting out the winners. Eventually I selected the four neatest. lam very pleased that yon sailors show that you know so much about New Zealand, and particularly the coastline, for, as you know, it is very important that a sailor, to be a good sailor, should know just what the coast looks like. If he did not ? he might wreck his ship without any trouble at all and that would not be. a yery nice thing especially lor the rest of the crew, and any passengers he might have aboard. Well, this week's winners are:— Beverley Murray * Patricia Kempton Lord Basil Kempton. Congratulations sailors. They were all exceptionally good entries and [very neatly done. Collect your tic.-< kcts from the Beacon Office with my best compliments. P.T.W.
