Additional advantages gained by spceifying Serpentine are: one ton 7cvvts is equivalent to one ton straight it is easiet to distribute, and sacks do not deteriorate in storage. The deliveries of last season's orders have not been overtaken by the manufacturers, but it is hoped they will be* completed by August next y when they will commence on this new season, immediately. In this issue an advertisement appears giving an opportunity for a month to lodge appeals for fertiliser ration. The conditions under which they will be considered are. set out in the advertisement and applications will not be received after 15th August next. Local members of th 6 Council should be consulted for any fuller information. ,
