Advice has been received that Jill and Jennifer Otterburn who it will i > be arrived in Whaka-* tane some four years ago as evacuees and who, while in this town * * stayed with Mr and Mrs S. Whit-* worth of Louvain Street have arrived back in England safely. The trip took exactly 29 days t and reports state that the two kiddies ara iboth happy and well. I Mr and Mrs Alec Canning of Whahave received news that their son i} Petty Officer Maynards Canning arrived in Auckland last evening after six years absent while serving in the Merchant He will arrive at Taneatua this evening.
