Notice of Motion Lapses A notice of motion lodged by Cr McCreadv at last meeting of the County Council, that cheques: signed by the Finance Committee be not paid out unt'l after the montly council meeting and that the existing resolution authorising suchpayment be rescinded, lapsed for want of a seconder. Cr McCready contended that it was right and proper all accounts "should be considered by the whole council at the full meeting in order to give councillors a chance to hrwe a &ay in their payment if they so desired, j Crs Cawtc McCracken and McGou- * gan considered the motion unnecesas they had every confidence in the Finance Committee to investigate all questionable accounts. Cr McCready contended it was not a matter of confidence but what was the fair and correct thing to do.
