WHAKATANE GOLF CLUB SATURDAY'S RESULTS The winner of the June Medal was .1. Corbett 93—23 —70 followed by J. Wright 87 —14—7:5 and J. Connell 83 —83 —7-1. Fourth place was filled by A. Chadwick 85 —8—77. Sectional Matches Dawson beat Campbell and Sloane beat Spring who however took his opponent to the 20th green before capitulating. Inter-sectional Draw In the senior section the match Connell v Steel has still to be played and the. winner will then meet Butler in the semi-finals. Both these matches will be played during the coming weekend. In the junior section the matches will be Dawson v Sloane and Denham v Rev. Wilson. The winners of these matches meeting in the final of the Reynolds' Cup. Saturday's Match A four ball best ball bogey will be played by those not engaged in the semi-finals of the .sectional matches. Players will arrange their own fours and it will assist if early arrivals will lee off as soon as possible. LADIES' GOLF The firet round of the Allan Trophy which was played on Saturday resulted: Mrs Dawson beat Mrs Duncan; Miss Black beat Miss Lenz; Armstrong beat Mrs Winstone on 27th green; Mrs Otley beat Mrs Semmens; Mrs Musett won by default from Mrs Semmens; Miss Carter beat Mrs Pearse; Miss Otley won by default from Miss Nankivell; Mrs Boon beat Mrs Tra.sk on 21st green. The second round which avi 11 be played on Saturday or not later than July 4 ? will be: Mrs Dawsoii v Miss Black; Mrs Armstrong v Mrs Otley; Mrs Mussett v Miss Carter; Mrs J Boon v Miss Otley.
The remainder of the draw for the third and last round for the Appleby Cup will be: Mrs Berg and Miss Nankivell; Mrs Combes and Miss Winstone; Mrs Winstone and Mrs Sloane; Mrs Duncan and Miss Kent; Mrs Barry and Mrs Dallas; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Eraser; Mrs Jarrett and, Mrs Semmens; Miss Righton and Mrs Tras'k; Mrs Suckling and Mrs Donaldson; Mrs Stone and Miss Lenz; Mrs Corcoran and Mrs Connell; Miss Armstrong and Miss Hunter; Miss Campbell and Miss Diprose; Miss King and Miss Reynolds; Miss Robins and Miss Luxton; Mrs Pearse and Miss Wilson; Mrs Bushett and Miss Tuckey; Miss Venables and Miss Todman.
