During Mr Howard's active management ot' his he achieved great results as to butterfat production, at one time topping the Ngarua district under Group Herd Test. Since. Mr Howard left the farm four years, ago the herd has not been tested, but it lias been carried on under the same efficient policy and nowhere will buyers find more beautiful cows showing unmistakable dairy abilit3 r . The herd was founded in 1926 with top cows and has been carefully developed by rigid culling and the use of best bulls, mainly of the famous Champion Owler of Puketapu strain.
