BASKETBALL
SATURDAY'S MATCHES Following are the basketball matches which have been arranged, for Saturday June 30. All games to be played in Whakatane:— Whakatane A v Paroa at 1 p.ra; Awakeri v Matata, Whakatane B v Poroporo at 1 .*3O; Whakatane C v Edgecumbe at 7.45; High School A v Taneatua at 2.15; High School B v Edgecumbe at 2.30; Whakatane A v Whakatane C at 2.15. Teams are requested to ( get the games over as promptly as possible ns the Possibles v Probables match is to lie played for the Representative teams. There will be a photographer on the grounds for the benefit of any team wishing to have its photo taken.
