MEETING AT TE TEKO The May meeting of the Te Teko branch of the Women's Division of the Farmers' Union was held in the Te Teko Mission Hall, Mrs Pry or presiding over a small attendance of members. It being V-K day, after the reading of the creed, Mrs Pryor asked members to stand, for three minutes silence for those that had given their lives. A small silk Hag used in the last war victory celebrations was presented to the president by Mrs Newman. After routine business had been discussed three new members were

welcomed to the division. The competition winners were: Small cakes, Mrs Pryor 1; Mrs Jamieson 2. Flowers Mrs Jamieson 1; Mrs Harty 2. The serving of afternoon, tea brought a delightful afternoon to a close.
