PAROA'S DUAL WIN Football competitions under the Whakatane Union advanced a further stage last Saturday. The main lttraction at Whalcatane was the Paroa-Poroporo senior clash in which the former won by a comfortable nargin owing chiefly to Poroporo's mistakes. The junior game was a rather poor lisplay of Rugby in wh'ich Paroa lominated the play throughout. At Waimana the second junior game proved a tight little contest with the home team victorious by six points. Waimana notched points from a potted goal and thereafter maintained an even lead. ■■ i
