Miss A. Luttrell ? Awakeri has just returned from a visit to Auckland. Mrs W. Kirk and son ? Pte. Harold Kirk 5 of East Coast, have been spending a week with relatives t Mr and Mrs S. W. of Kutarere. Pte Kirk has just returned after seeing nearly foijr years service overseas. Two of his brothers have been killed, in action and two others are still overseas. This is quite a proud record for one family which forms almost a whole link in the long chain of the Maori Battalion..
