Mr and Mrs H. Pirini, of Whakatane are glad to inform all friends and relatives that their son Wiwi Firing is safe in Italy. 216 Friends of Pte. Alfred Atkinson will be pleased to hear that word has been received by his sister, Mrs W. Rae, Ohope, that he is safe and ivell in Italy after being a prisoner for 4 years.
