MERRILANDS STUD PRICES WELL MAINTAINED The attendance at the annual sale - of the Merrilands Stud Jerseys (Mr R. L. McDonald, Waimana) was also affected by the flood last Saturday possibly to a far greater degree than was the. sale at 'Green Mead-< ows' dispersal. Buyers however were present from the Whakatane and Galatea. The top price of 46gns was paid for a two years old heifer 'Sparkling . Grey Eyes' by Mr A. F. Opotibi whilst the top price for. bulls was 45gns for the yearling, Lot 55, to the bid of Mr H. Marra* of Waimana. The sale, was conducted by Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co. Ltd. y with Mr J. W.
