Effective Average Production
The 1943-41 season was the fourth season in which effective average production returns had been collected on behalf of the industry. Although all dairy companies were not the returns secured covered well over 80 per cent, of the total cows in the Dominion. The effective average production for the past four years for dairy factory suppliers were as follows: 1940-/ 41 232.1 ibs fat; 216.31b5» fat; 1942-43 207.21bs fat; 1943-44, 205. libs fat.'
