MINISTER OF LANDS FOR HIS APPROVAL UNDER THE LAND ACT. The meeting will be asked to appoint a committee to communicate its decision to Messrs. R. G. Dick (Surveyor General), R. L. Innis (Chief Drainage Engineer), W. Traill (Chief Surveyor R. B. Hammond (Town Planner, Housing Department) and R. H. P. Ronayiie (District Engineer, Public Works Department), which gentlemen, as,a result of representations made by ' the Whakatane County Council, will be meeting a committee of such, j* Council at l'O a.m. on Wednesday, 1 9th May at Whakatane, and will later be making an inspection ' Edgecumbe Township. \ It is in your interests to attend this important meeting. The Council has a V 8 % ton truck with good tyres, and new battery for sale, and invite tenders for its purchase. It may be inspected at Councils Workshop on Tuesday, Bth May.
