Jarrett, of Whakatane. Mr and Mrs J. J. Butler of Do* main Road ' have received informa,tion from the Minister of Defence that their son ? Pte. J. J. for three years prisoner of Avar in Germany is now safe in England. A subsequent communication from their son himself shows him to be in good health and longing to .be home.
