FRENCH WOMEN WILL VOTE FOR FIRST TIME
Three-quarters of the French electorate voting at the forthcoming elections will be women. It is the first time in French history that women have voted at aIU Many sections of opinion are turbed at the possibilities arising from this petticoat rule. | Women are in such a majority because about Frenchmen are in Germany and another 1,000,000 are under arms. For reasons of expediency., Servicemen will not vote. They are nominally eligible but it would be difficult to get the elections finished in reasonable time*.
