Game J'or this territory states that the Department has been keeping tile Bay well stocked with iisli and game despite war-time and transport difficulties. With regard to liberations in the Bay between Matata and Opotiki over the past two years, the writer states that fry numbered 810 ( 000; pheasants 887; duck 869. Nothing so far has. been heard re., garding the position of ammunition or the process of distributing and handling same.
