REPATRIATION FROM ODESSA It is understood that Flight-Lieu-tenant R. T. Fleming, D.F.C., has been liberated from a German prison camp by the Russians and is oil his way to England from Odessa. He is expected to arrive shortly.

Flight-Lieutenant Fleming is the son of Mrs T. Fleming, oi' Opotiki. He was one of the Newt Zealand airmen who helped to bomb Rommel out of Libya. Later, he carried out many raids from Britain. He is 23 and an old. boy of the Opotiki District High School. He won the Distinguished Flying Cross in February 1943. *■ ?
