CAUSE OF DELAY
Fat had bought a watch guaranteed for twelve months. At the end of nine months however, he reappeared ;A. the shop and complained that the watch had stopped six months earlier when it had fallen into the P>^ s ' trough. "But 'why didn't you bring it back at once?" inquired the jeweller, "How could I/' replied Fat. "We only killed the pig yesterday."
