THE THREE POWER CONFERENCE
Sir, —Mr Peter F. Duc'ker in a recent article in the Herald states that, "The Great Powers have a peace plan for Europe-" While having no basic policy it has. unfolded sufficient to indicate that the Great Powers have formed a Council for Europe so that the Europeans will have no status but subordination. One must remember that those three Great Powers are the representatives" "of the international banker and do not represent the people but their (the bankers) Governmental policy. There has been so much contradiction and evasive talk by those interested in. international planned 'economy that it behoves us # the people, to stand for a National policy founded on the Sovereignty of the State; and we should not leave it to those who do not recognise Sovereignty as it will have the effect of subordinating the nation to financial- dictatorship "by those who have acquired control. Mr Ducker points out, and very truly, that the two principle "military and monetary control" are' in the forefront of centralised control of all nations. This is to be deplored as a most dangerous that whilst under the guise of Philanthropic and the rehabilitation of those war racked nations not under the name of charity 5 but under the name of commercial interests will they subjugate those nations. The effect of. this world-wide control of political economy by the international forces will be worse than the war. Russia proposes to take German youths to work in Russia. England and America propd&e military supervision over ail heavy industry. When boiled down, it would mean the same thing for the small Allied countries, under international control. The international would be protected by paid hirelings. This is-what cMsintregated the Roman. Empire. When Rome reigned supreme there was the international slave state. Are we approaching this state of servitude? When we see the reflection of a fire, steps should be taken to stop it from spreading ! ! ! Yours etc. W. BRADSHAW.
