ATTRILL CUP CHALLENGE MATCH
The following team has been selected by Mr S. W. Burstall to represent the Whakatane Association against the Tc Puke-Pongakawa As-, sociation in an Attrill Cup challenge match to be held on the Domain, Whakatane, on the 11th of this month. Playing hours will be 10 a.m. to (> p.m. L. R. Spring (Capt) f> W. J. Me* Ivenzie A. G. Fisher (Whakatane United); V. C. Miller, E. Wells E. R. Axtens (Waimana); R. Cleland, E. Ryan (Taneatua-Paroa); S. MaJa. quin, I. Campbell ? J. Gayler (CenG. Wardlaw (Waimana) 12th man. Mr J. D. Rivets lias been ap-J pointed manager. The following team will represent Te Puke-Pongakawa: V. Tunnicliffe (Capt), G. Webb, N. Spratt 3 E. Smith, I. Crowley, J. Guthrie } J. Ranapia P. Hickson, J. Reid j A. Clarey, R. Longworth, G, Beston 12th man. Colts v Rest In conjunction with the representative game at. the coming week-end between Pongakawa and Whakatane a game will be played on. No. 2 wic« ket between the Colts and the Rest. The teams will be selected from the following:— Colts: Rae McGee Martin, G. 5 '9 7 Wardlaw, E. Malquin, M-cCready Laurie H. The game will commence at 10 and players, are requested to oring their own lunches.
