Sale of Army Vehicles The effect of the railway strike was felt at the sale of used Army trucks held under the auspices of the .War Assets Realisation Board at the Cornwall Park Vehicle Reception in Auckland. Buyers from the country were unable to attend the sale ? and only 47 out of a total of 197 assorted vehicles were sold. It was stated that the class of vehicle offering was not suitable for the average operator and included a number of short Avheelbase trucks. The total amount realised from the sale was not disclosed. |
