Dublin policc couldn't find where Christopher Mehir had hidden money he allegedly stole from an office safe.. Finally, they unscrewed his. -wooden leg and found two £10(1 notes live £50 notes and ££)00 l()s in 10s notes —a total of £ltff)o l()s. Mehir was sent for trial.
