What a short time it \ iseems since I was last wishing ( you the same things ! And a t very happy year it has been . hasn't it? When I look back j over the flying months I won- ( der if the League has ever had I a jollier year. The membership ; is now just under 200, the competitions have been enthusiastically entered for, and happier letters have been arriving in ever-increasing numbers. I hope that the coming year will prove equally happy and sue-. { cessful. Behind us now lies the path we have trodden for the past twelve months. We may look back and see all the things we have done. Some ) no doubt have made slower progress than others but in the main I think we may congratulate ourselves on having past a very useful and can proudly hold up our heads as befits straight hon» est sailormen.
