MISS HAZEL CAVE
Upwards of forty guests gathered I at the residence of Mr and Mrs M. K. Cave ; Anzac Avenue, on Tuesday evening to attend ' the 21st birthday party given by them in honour of their daughter Hazel. The party was a particularly bright one and all the guests were entirely, in spirit with the occasion. ,V The evening, which was spent in dancing and games 9 passed very the party being, by popular vote, one of the best yet. After a delicious supper, the ceremony of lighting the twenty-one candles was carried out and this was followed by the Usual musical honours'. Mr A. Shaw proposed the toast of the evening and the guest of honour replied suitably. After a hearty two hours were spent in singing, and although the guests and the pianist seemed at times unable to agree on the tune j it. was nevertheless thoroughly and served to> bring a. gay evening to a popular close. l
