DISABLED SERVICEMEN
GRANTS FOR BOWLING GREENS The Dominion Executive committee of the N.Z.R.S.A. has decided to set aside £1000 from the sums held under the J. R. McKenzie Trust to provide for grants of £250 to assist in the establishment of Bowling Greens at each of the Disabled Servicemen's Re-establishment League's Training Centres at Wellington Dunedin Christchurch and 1 Auckland. The N.Z.R.S.A. holds this trust as a beneficiary of the J. R. McKenzie Trust Board from which the Association has received amounts totalling £4.350 to be expended for the benefi of all ex-servicemen who have j suffered temporary or permanent j disability through wounds or sickness > or whose advancement in life or earning a livelihood shall have been prejudiced as a result of war service. It was reported to the committee that the establishment of bowling greens at the training centres was looked upon with considerable favour by Mr McKenzie and the N.Z.R.S.A. felt it would be meeting with the wishes of its benefactor in setting aside the amount stated above for this very deserving projedt. The J. R. McKenzie Trust is availabe Ifor personal grants for the benefit of all ex-servicemen who have come within the category provided for ifi the terms of the trust and is administered by the N.Z.R.S.A. on behalf of the J. R. McKenzie Trust Board (Incorporated).
