RANGITAIKI DOMAIN PROPOSAL
Sir—At the public meeting called by the Rangitaiki Domain for Monday j November 13 } I to bring forward the following posal for discussion and, if possible, adoption:—"That the, proposed area be purchased by the citizens of whole of the Rangitaiki as a lasting memorial "to this war for freedom" and'this memorial to take the of a central recreation area where: all forms of sport can be played— where athletic sporty key } cricket j tennis ? bowls and quet etc. can be indulged in. The. co-operation of the whole district would enable the development and maintenance of an area of which. we would be justly and would serve: to foster that spirit which is fast from our midst. „ Yours ' D.
