Mr A. C. Hulme formerly of Nelson and well known in is now residing in Te Puke, and has taken, up 'the business of a general carrier. Mr Hulme ? when a Sergeant i'n the New Zealand forces on Crete,, distinguished himself by being awarded t\he Victoria Cross for outstanding bravery in action.
