HOSPITAL BATH
USE FOR MENTAL PATIENTS
AMERICAN INVENTION
An up-to-date bath of American invention in which patients mav lie '9 w f literally "for hours," is used at the Kingseat Mental Hospital. Known as a sling bath it has holes punctur-. Ed in the sides, through which water runs in and out all the time and a leather cloth, on which the patrient lies, is hooked over the gides and let down into the bath. This cloth gives extra support to the body . and enables the patient, to lie in the bath for up to two hours if necessary.
