Unanimous support lo a motion that no loans be raised without such being authorised by the ratejmyers was given at the conference of ten councils in Tauranga fast week. A motion to this ell'eet was moved by the chairman Mr J. L. Burnett of Wlmkatane and seconded by Mr C. W. Kennedy (Piako).
