FATAL INJURIES
MILL WORKER'S DEATH
ACCIDENT AT TE WHAITI
Injuries from which he elied half an hour were received by a mill worker at Te. Whaiti short, ly after 4 p.m. on Friday last. Deceased was: — Henry Te Anw> f aged about 38 years, a married man with five child ren. Deceased who has been 'an em ployee of the State Forest Servicc for the past six years was' an experienced bushman and pit foreman He was working with a power saw when a log rolling from the skid: behind him, broke away and jam, med him } causing severe chest in juries. A warning was called to deceased by fellow-workmen when the log broke away but he did not hear it, 9 * the noise of his machine being suf ficient to prevent this.
