Shelter at Heads
At the last meeting of the Whakatane Harbour Board a letter was
IT received from the Chamber of Commerce pointing out the necessity for a pedestrian shelter at the Heads Park and enquiring whether or not the Board would be prepared to assist in obtaining one.. It was decided that the Chamber should be asked for further particulars re-' garding on whose land it was proposed to erect the shelter what body would be responsible for the maintenance and caretaking of it and 9 what would be the estimated cost > type and class of. the proposed structure.
