LEAGUE OF MOTHERS

MONTHLY MEETING The monthly meeting of the League of Mothers was held on Au-' gust 29 in the Presbyterian Hall, to the absence of Mrs G art shore, the meeting was- presided over by Mrs A. Bridger. The attendance, was not as good as owing to mothers being absent with families for the school holidays. An interesting address on "Faith'* was given by Rev. J. Wilson. Mrs Schofield and Miss Schofield entertained the meeting with piano* forte duets, which were: very much appreciated. Tea was served by Mesdames How-» at and McKenzie and the gathering was brought to a close with the singing of the National Anthem.
