Leather Tested

Tests of the wearing value of leather soles were carried out in two military camps, according to the annual report of the Leather Research Department. One result of the trials was that some of the soles which wore out first were from the. best of the hides. The report, slates that the life of a sole is determined by the amount and type of abrasion. A life of three Aveeks or less might be a better performance under certain conditions than three months, under others. The Held trials are still being carried out.
