INVESTMENTS STILL LOW

Totals of the investment figures for the week-end in the £40,000 f 000 Victory Loan which is now entering its third week, show that for this district the sum of had been subscribed an increase of £6891 over the amount subscribed for the first week and published in our issue of Tuesday last. The, sum is still well behind the target for the district which is £109804. It is, composed as follows:— Whakatane: Bonds £525; National Savings Accounts £1180; Stock £6750. Matata: Stock £150. Taneatua: Bonds £20; National Savings Accounts £5; Stock £1550. Te Teko: Bonds £406; National Savings Accounts £32; Stock £600. The totals are: Whakatane £8455; Matata £150; Taneatua £1575; Te Teko £1038. Target Barometer
