LAST WEEK'S COMPETITION
Well scuttle my I didn't know what I was letting myself in for when I gave you each an easy competition last week. Entries just poured in all week and you should have heard the postman grumbling each time he came with a fresh swag. He complains that he ought to be supplied with a motor lorry or at least a horse and dray if he is expected to bring .such a swag of mail each week. Ho\vcvcr ( his headache was nothing to the one I had when it came to sorting out the winners. The trouble was that all of you } with the exception of one or t/wo had the right answer. To get over the difficulty t have picked out the live neatest correct ones (some job too) ? and awarded them tickets. This week's winners arc:— Gabrielle Wright Susan Wright lan Breward Sue Goodwin lan Dainton Congratulations you live. Call and collect your tickets at the Beacon Office. Congratulations to all you others too who had the. right answers. Sorry I can't award you all tickets. P.T.W.
