MEDICAL GRADING
MANY N.Z. REJECTIONS
SUNLIGHT LEAGUE COMMENT
That so many New Zcalanders had been rejected for military service because, of their medical grading was commented upon by Sir R. Heaton Rhodes at the annual meeting of the Sunlight League of New Zealand in Christchurch. '"This has been rather a disturbing sign," he said, '"and emphasises the necessity for building a virile and healthy race. We must have a better and stronger race; we must have men who are At from a military point of view. That can only lie achieved with a foundation of strong and healthy children."
