RANGITAIKI GROUP MEETS SUCCESSFUL YEAR CONCLUDED The annual meeting of the Rangitaiki Group of the New Zealand Co-op. Pig Marketing Association was -held at. Edgecumbe recently. Mr C. R. Wilson was, in the chair and there was a fair attendance 01. suppliers. Mr Wilson gave a brief report of the activities of the P.M.A. in New Zealand, showing what a benefit it had been to the farmers throughout the country. In his report, the organise l , Mr Burstall 'showed how the truckings were well up on last year and would have, been a lot better .still if it had not been for the drought and the following Mood. He cxpectetl the next season lo be a good one following on the appeal for more pig meats and the small rise in price. The following were elected to the committee for the ensuing year: Messrs Dunning, Ley (secretary), MeCraeken, Macrcady, Wilson (chair man), Winters and Withy.
