PLUNKET SOCIETY

MONTHLY MEETING

The monthly meeting of the Plunke,t Socicty was held in the Plunknt Rooms, Whakatane ) on Monday l-lth Cairns (chair) } Zinsli, Timbs ) Rex Morpeth, Fisher, Patterson, Morgan, Dainton and Caisley being present. Apologies w r ere received from Mcsdames L. King, Shapley, P. Sisam and Runciman. Four visitors from the Rangitaiki sub-branch, Mesdajnes Thompson, Allen Hopkirk and Haultain were also present.

The monthly report for July which showed a great improvement int the various sub-branches was read and adopted. Discussion then took place concerning the nurse's ear and a committee was appointed to interview the advisory members. The usual votes of thanks to the chair closed the, meeting.
