TANEATUA FAREWELL. COMMITTEE REGENT ACTIVITIES

Two local boys recently farewellccl from Taneatua, were Dawson. Tocker and Jack Semmens, both of the R.N.Z.A.F. These boys are both leaving for duty abroad, and were suitably farewelled at wellpatronised at Avhich many of their friends- gathered to wish, them good luck and a safe, return. They were each presented with at wallet and contents as a memento, from the- Taneatua Farewell Committee oil behalf of. the. residents* of the district. The Farewell Committee also* sends parcels to all local servicemen serving overseas, and another batch, was recently despatched. Members of the committee, have received several letters expressing appreciation, of these parcels,, which form, as one of the boys put it, "a link with home."
