THE AERODROME PROPOSAL
TANEATUA FARMERS' UNION
At the meeting of the Whakatane County Council last Tuesday the following resolution from a meeting of 'the Taneatua Branch of the New Zealand Farmers' Union was handed 1 in by Cr A. F. McGougan.
"This meeting of the Taneatua Branch of the Farmers' Union is definitely opposed to any further rating of land for public utilities—especially relating to aerodromes."
