ENJOYABLE DANCE

WELCOME HOME AT EDGECUMBE A very successful dance was held by the Edgecumbe Farewell and Welcome Home Committee on Tuesday, July 11. the guests of honour being Ptes W. Larsen t C. Corbett and P. Gillespie who have recently returned from overseas. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Mr P. Burke and Miss M. Campbell. During the evening Mr D. RadclifTe made the customary pi-eserita-tions to the returned men and expressed the good wishes of all present. A competition for a box of chocolates was won by Mr Towelly. A dainty supper was served by the ladies of the committee.
