Among the latest batch of men returned from the islands on furlough is Sgt. W. B. (Bill) Bridger. Sgt. Bridger, who will be well remembered by Whakataneans arrived home on Thursday.
A correction of the date as to when Miss Jean Armstrong of Whakatane, will perform over the air from station 2YB (810 kc) New Plymouth, has been received. To-mor-row night, Wednesday 19th at 6.30 p.m. is now the corrected time and date.
