PALMERSTON NORTH CORNER
Well T received a whole host, of letters from our sailors in I'almerston North. The}' are certainly good correspondents. You all tell me that it is very cold down there just at present, i: am rather glad that J don't live in Palmers ton ju*t now ■*as I ilon't like cold weather at all.'
Neither do Butinsky or Pctcrkin. I think in winter we would all rather live in sunny Whakatanc where I can take a dip in the ocean every morning at (> o'clock. After doing this I often have to sit on a lump of ice to cool niyse.lf down. It. is a pity that the milk has been cut out at your school because of rationing isn't it. I drink gallons of milk myself so E know just how you feel. Thank you for sending the stamps Selwyn. They arrived safe and sound and undamaged. Well, this week's winners of the comxjetition are. Don Hoggard and Lynctte Hall. Congiatulations you two sailors. P.T.W.
