ELECTION OF OFFICERS
At the annual meeting of the Whakatane Bowling Club held on Saturday evening, the chairman reviewed and outlined briefly the progress made during the season, and commented on the exceedingly active period they had had. The president, Mr L. Littlejohn, also spoke, enlarging on the Easter tournament which had been held in Whakatane for the first time in the club's history. A detailed report will appear in Tuesday's issue. • The election of officers resulted as under:— Patron: Mr W. Sullivan, M.P. President: Mr L. Littlejohn. Vice-president: Mr W. Henderson.
