REALISATION BY PUBLIC . SPIRIT OF SACRIFICE "I have boon disturbed to find that a number of people do trot appear to have a true realisation of the issues of this -war." .said Mr R. M. Maci'arlane, M.P., at the installation of the Christchurc;h City Couneil. "They do not have the. spirit of sacrifice, say, of the people of Great Britain. The}' complain of the trivial tilings they have to put up with." Mr Macj'arlane said he was sure the City Council would do all it could to correct the attitude of this .section.
