ITS IMPORTANCE TO-DAY WELL-PLANNED GUIDANCE Well-planned vocational guidance work Avas even moje important than a generation ago, as the youth of to-day had to engage in a more complex world than had faced his parents, said Mr G. M. Keys, Vocational Guidance Officer, in an address to the New Education Fellowship at Christehurch. It Avas signihcant, commented Mr Keys, that at least 40 per cent of the young people took no part in physical activities, and that (50 per cent had no constructive hobbies and had joined no cultural groups. The subject of Mr Keys' talk Avas "The Young Worker in the City."
