RANGITAIKI UNION DRAW The following are the results of matches played under the auspices of the Rangitaiki Rugby Union last Saturday, June 10:— Seniors: Thornton defeated Otakiri 9—3; Te Teko defeated Mataliina 6'—o. , Juniors: Thornton defeated cumbc 13—3; Te Teko A defeated Otakiri 29—3. Position After First Round The position of the teams at the end of the first round of the flange taiki competition shows Otakiri Seniors and Thornton Juniors with 6 points and 10 points respectively in the lead. In the Seniors, Edgecumbe, and Thornton, with one match still to play have four points each and the forthcoming match should excite some amount of interest among Rugby fans. In the Juniors,, Thornton is in the lead with 10 points with Edgecumbe a close second.
