Public notice is hereby given that in the absence of supplies of dog collars, the Council proposes for the ending December 31, 1944 to effect registration 5 of dogs in accordance AA r ith the procedure prescribed bv Clause 5' (b) of the Dog|.si Registration Emergency Regulations 1942 (No. 2), that is to say, the issue of a certificate in the form prescribed in the schedule to these Regulations authorising the continued use of the dog collar issued in re- j spcct of the licensing period ended December 31, 1943. The Council has resolved that the fees on registration shall be as I'olloaa t s: Dogs kept solely for herding or driving cattle 2/6 d or solely for destroying rabbits 1/- and all other dogs 5/-, (Hj'datid remedy 1/- additional). RETURNS OF LAND Every person and company within the meaning of the Land and Income Tax Act 1923, and regulations thereunder, whether a taxpayer or not, being owner of land in New Zealand, is hereby required to forward to or deliver at my office, Wellington C.3 on or before 10th Anril. 1944, in the prescribed form, returns of such land as at 12 noon on 31st March, 1941, where the total unimproved value, as assessed .under the Valuation of Land Act, 1925, exceeds £500.
